Check with your local family history society as some now have a writing support group.

Crawford House, Alstonville

The Family History Writing  Group is interested in  in many writing genres including memoir, biography, fiction and poetry as well as writing and talking about our family histories....we have written and shared stories about wedding photographs, letters and diaries, how music is reflected in our family folklore and history, on how recipes and cooking permeate our family history and our memories of it, and have had a foray into self publishing.
